Van Amsterdam is a name that keeps coming up and I'm guessing that 116h and 23h are Van Amsterdam chassis? Can anyone give me any info on who this stockcar builder is and any other cars he has built? I saw a brand new one on TradeMe about 6months ago with a Ford Pop body on it, looked awesome. Thanks.

I believe this is basically a John van Amsterdam chassis. How many other Superstocks are out there?

Thats right Wayne, the 218h Alderton car was built by the Wades a long time ago, i remember that car being owned by Mike Cox 26h as a Standard stock but A-Grade team raced by Steve Burley before Burley got his first car, the car then went to a few people including 88h Murray Vincent and 43H Tony Bennetto, also the above mentioned 96h Steve "Legend" Parks, his old 96h car is actually the above pictured 551r Marmite car.

No rotoholic that 88h is Justin Hutchby, the 88h i'm talking about was from a few years back now, Murray Vincent.

Heres a pix of Steve Parks is this a Van Amsterdam car? quote] Yes, now 551R. John van Amsterdam was racing #67 at the same meeting. There is/was another thread on here about the Parks car.
