Fox and Lane have been very quick of late and perhaps always have been. Tama will be very tough to beat a well. Blakeley and the Wards will complete the top 6. Again however it is the ability to qualify without problems and as with any national championship and that can be the unknown factor with everyone having a go and some just trying to win in the first corner

I agree Mr Mintie although it would be much easier to name the contenders if we knew who the contenders were

Pacific Urethane Boys are going to be trying hard toget NUMBERS this year, 1 on ea car aye boys ;D ;D
Lane will be a strong contender if theres no engine issues and same with Foxy with there engine.
Cant rule out Haigh.
they way every1 has been driving this year it shoud be fast and exciting

Over the last two seasons it appears that Tama has tamed his driving style, and been content to see others wipe each other out, and see his chances increase as the night goes on.
Is this recognitiion that he doesn't have the pace he used to with all of the new cars coming out over the last two years? Not sure...
I just hope Brian McPhee loses another muffler like he did in Huntly...awesome sound that was.
Can;t go past Foxy to take it out - a class act.
Joh Jackson has been scarily consistant this season - woun;t be surprised if he sneaks into the top 3.
Cliff Frost - go the hook up monster! Got to support one stockcar driver.
should be a good meeting with Wellingtons good track.

Tama has certainly had the pace at Te Marua this season having broken the lap record several times.

For me the driver with the best over all race time's is more of a certainty than a few one off quick laps in a meet, that and usually a bit of luck. I don't think reading into fastest lap times only is the way to pick a winner out right on the big meetings more of a badge of honour ;D

Those in the top five would have to be (in no particular order) Scott lane Tama Arapere John jackson Jamie fox Natasha rodgers
As long as these 5 can keep out of trouble and get good grids they will be our top contenders.
I just hope the 7s car qualifies!!!!!!!! ;D ;D
Go the raceworks car!!!!! ;D

What info' is there on the Title this weekend? I've looked and looked but it's all gone quiet (in anticipation???). Does anyone have the entry list? I'm guessing the regulars that I know will be there: Mike G Natasha Foxy Scotty Tama Cliff by the sounds of it Who else has confirmed? Jamo! Where are you! We depend on your information which always seems to be wide reaching and (mostly ) correct.

You make a good point Mr Jam However, you have to admit that there's normally a lot more activity about a title meeting and there's normally be a sub-board at the top. I'm not complaining, just surprised

Yes, we do let the side down a little considering how well the Nth Islanders support the southern meetings. Not sure how to change that.
