Nothing else from that era unfortunately. I wouldn't mind seeing some of your Dayne Plummer pics though, especially any of his #88.

great pics bit early for me but the names i remember as my dad raced there. He started in a saloon p2 i think?then to stockcars 35h 6h. I remember a lot of names frank millar, the dutchman,toby cambell,barry featherson,barry dick,kevin free,owen shaw,to name a few if anyone has some pics of these would be good to show my boys

Man.
I was too young to remember many of those cars, I do remember Smith, Shaw, Featherstone. A few of the other cars in there.
The old man was a Mechanic on one of the B grade cars in 1975 when I was born, he was loving the old images.

i have corrected dave belks name above .ORDANARY people .well back then we had the flag racers to ;D but to some of us that raced back then the flag was furtherest from our minds were hell bent on causing mayham & god nos what else .we were the ones that made the waikato times but never the record books we were the ones that ended upside down g/boxes falling out wheels flying untold dam every nite but hey it was our mob that were still in the pits all nite around a burning 44 gall drum having a quite beer or punch up to get things sorted we wernt the ones that loaded up straight away & took off with the tropies .we were the ones that the public came down to & joined in .thats how i ended up breaking my neck .then came saloons not much changed .hic ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.
