I have memories as a kid of a really flash looking Super Saloon from the old Bay Park. Late 80's or early 90's. It was black and pink from memory, and possibly 88M ? I remember being blown away in the pits by how flash it was, then watched in horror as it was in a big pile up first race. Does anyone know of this car, what happened to it, who drove it etc, and any pics would be awesome. Cheers.

Is that the kruriger or the harris chassis he had? My old man has his Kruriger we think. Can Rember that paint job for the short time he had it. Also remember that old firetruck that was that can be seen in the background.

I'm not exactly sure I think Waddel had two kurigier before switching to Harris chassis. I can't be sure and all jurugiers look quite similar. However with the ex waddel kuriger my old man has now some things do look quite similar(remember 20 years apart thou). According to Ash Cook he brought the car from Dean Waddel from the Meremerei after an outlaw meeting. So if that is the same car shown above then is is the present state. OK. Not as pretty as when Dean waddel had it Dean Waddel --> Ash Cook (4s) While Ash Cook had the car it was converted to a limited at some stage. Ash Cook(4s) --> Peter Ingram(7s) Peter Ingram(7s) --> Larry Edmondson(27h) Doesn't have quite so many shinny bits(actually any) compared to when Dean Waddel had it. Certainly doesn't have a 406 under the bonnet or quick change anymore. Still has the orginal holes for the torison bar front end however. As you can guess it has been changed quite a bit over the years. Ash Cook convertered to ltd saloon specs(orginal ltd saloon specs, ie before SNZ). We have it on video at unoffical NZ champs in stratford with him behind the wheel. No photos sorry. Did look quite good from the grainny image but it had been converted to the current camaro shape by that stage. Peter Ingram had it for a few years and was quite competative with it (saloons were still ltd saloon specs) and was normally in the next group behind the guns at that stage(ie Craig Richards, Steve Louden, Brent Mcylmount). Peter Ingram had the front re done by colson and the rear end redone by Netwon Gorge. I do have photos of the car in the blue pertek paint job but they not mine to show.
