Planning on having an informal swap meet for datsun/toyota ministock parts at the first practice at the track BEFORE racing starts, 13th Sep. No charge or anything like that just an opportunity to bring along all the odd parts you have that you know will not fit your own car thanks to Datsuns obsession with constantly changing its dimensions. All going well you might be able to swap something you don't need for something you do. Don't have anything to swap? Come anyway you might find what you want is cheap or even free!! Parts are starting to be in shorter supply so if you don't want it don't throw it away, give it to someone who needs it.

datsuns changing dimensions? Never came across that... You either have a sunny ministock which is coilovers all round or a 120y ministock which is leaf springs. You stick to the car your ministock is youll be fine. recommend using sunny front struts. They better then 120y.

Thanks for your input Rusty but that is a very simplistic way of looking at it. Without going into great detail there are heaps of differences between 1200, 120Y, Sunny, sedan and stationwagon in the front and rear suspension, gearboxes, rear axle assemblies, steering components etc etc.
There are people who have parts from all different models because thay have been given them or brought a pile of bits just to get a couple they were after. Long gone are the days that you just throw away what doesn't suit you car. There are also people who have heaps of one part and none of another.
I can only assume that you don't work on your own car, have only ever brought bits to suit your car, or have never broken anything at the track and then tried to use someone elses spares to only find they have different dimensions and won't fit.
With regards to front struts send me all your 120Y struts cause they are way better than Sunny struts.
