Well what can i say it has dawned to be a real nice day looks at moment no wind and prob heading for 25 - 30 degrees.
Thanks to all the North Islanders who attended the BBQ and the Mainlanders of Course.
Special Thanks to Joanne and Mark for the food they supplied and also my Partner Yo for taking day of work and purchasing and prepping everything else and sorting it last night also our Fabulous chef Diko for doin the BBQ again also to Derek for helping him out.
I guess by the time Murray gets on here this Morning we would have already sent most of the Guys and Girls and Children to Queenstown for a cruise on the lake Courtesy of Queenstown Fishing and Charters so I guess the chances of them being back to race tonight might be slim if the last speedway jaunt was anything to go by........ Thanks Blair Payne and captain Scott.
Well lets just hope all things go well for tonight and we all move on to Dunedin tommorrow for Rnd 2 with no repairs to make
Thanks also To Caddy Steve Williams and crew for making it happen again, well done.

where do i find the track in cromwell?couldnt find a map on the website anywhere..
going through to waimate tonight so why not "stop" in ;D

Phil hopes "things go alright" tonight. If the hospitality, weather, track conditions at Cromwell are anthing to go by, it seems almost inconceivable that anything could go wrong ... BUT as we know, with the best laid plans!   |

You must of been to cromwell in the winter time to have a photo
taken like that or is it some North Island giggery pokery taking place. Have a good night all & sundry

I planned on updating the Interislander Saloon Series website from Cromwell tonight but circumstances have kept me in Blenheim. Fortunately Carol being her ever efficient self will be texting the official results through to me following each race and they'll be posted on the Interislander Saloon Series website at www.interislandersaloons.co.nz/cromwell.htmlGood luck to both teams for tonight and the rest of the series.
