Just a big thanxs to the huntly speedway crew for putting up with us for the weekend. Also huge thanx from the team for the support from the public, bloody orsum ;D ;D From the 5 drivers (jase,sam,dave,bruce and myself) thankyou to scott ross our team manager & dave kingsbeers our stockcar rep for putting in the hours every week running around after us, without you we wouldnt have been out there racing  it was a wicked weekend all up and we all are very proud of how we raced. Even tho im still gutted we missed out on the semis by 5points after me getting myself DQ for going backwards  (maybe i better read the rule book before i hit the track again) so again thanx heaps to anyone involved with making it such a good time, on and off the track. see you all in wellington and of corse in 12months back in huntly. cheers simon allen 65g |

The spectators owe you guys a huge thanks...you guys put on an awesome show...from my point of view , Gisborne put on some of the best team races both nights...for a new team at their first event , you definitely did yourselves proud and will definitely be a team to watch out for in the future...you have alot of new Gisborne fans and supporters in the Waikato who will be eagerly looking forward to your return...good luck at your next teams event

I totally agree. The thanks should go to you fellas Simon. Yourselves and the waikato team were very impressive. I think the crowd was stunned by your first heat and you just kept building on it. AWESOME ;D ;D ;D Although might pay to watch ya mirrors when the bay boys are around from now on Well done to you and the team Simon!!! |

Thanks for giving the neutrals someone to cheer for. The passion and commitment of the drivers was there for all to see.
I will be cheering for Gisborne (provided they don't face Auckland) in Wellington.

You Gisborne boys did awesome, good on you boys for doing so well! Was great to have you at Huntly, thank you for coming and putting on a great show, was nice to meet y'all in the clubrooms as well. No doubt we will see you in Wellington ;D

Nice to see such great comments for this new team - getting out there, working as a TEAM, getting experience, getting to know each other on and off the track, it seems you have a winning combination with Scott's leadership. Well done Scott, it's nice to read positive stuff about the Gisborne boys. Good luck for your next outing. Hopefully you will have the same team for the whole season so you can just go from strength to strength.  . Best advise we can give...stay working together as a TEAM and you will go ahead in leaps and bounds... |

Thanx for all the awesum comments it means a lot to us all an will indeed inspire us on to greater things.We race knowing that people have kindly backed us and we love knowing we have good support. I to know that with more time together,confidence will grow an anything is achevieable. Regretfully we have had to postpone our Auckland teams race as cars an bodies need a little more than time to refresh;but still we all cant wait for the next one ;D ;D Hope to put some video shots of our races on my site later on in the week thanx Huntly for the meeting and thanx Rotorua,HawkesBay an BayPark for the feeling an rush that only teams racing can bring |
