I thought about those three cars in the top 3 too Superstockboy and then I thought what about 58c ? Then I got to thinking about 26m, 7m and 21h ! Then I realized I had overlooked 2nz !
Might have to go to the TAB and put a $ on all of them ;D
Its going to be a great meet and we are really looking forward to being there.
Your thoughts schumaaka , maybe your old car ?

Yup he's in with a chance I'm still working on the top 20, Rank them top to bottom and then have a look at 15 thru to 25 thats where it gets really interesting. Who will make the finals This would have to be the closest group of cars that I have seen for a NZ Champs ever !!.

There sure are a lot of competitors with a real chance of a top 3 result... Who to pick? sure would love to see it all unfold, but still not sure if I can sneak away from the farm... I see a lot of the "usual suspects" mentioned with a chance to do well, but what about competitors such as 71n? his car seemed on fire at the glen! 58c surely must have a good shot at doing well? don't know about 7m. Him and his car seem to disagree on a few things and need to have a quiet talk with each other first. We'll see I suppose

i see so far the southerners outdo the northeners 2 to 1, can we saftely say the southerners have the balance of power in super saloon racing now??

I think you'll find that, that ratio would be typical and always favorable to the host Island at every NZ Super saloon Championship.

The width, banking, length of the track, and drive achieved will not favour the lower horse power cars, or the sidewinders. This track will reward the Greg Keegan / Dean Wardell type racer (as in style) with big grunt out of the turns. Unlikely to be a one lane track which will provide for hard out professional racing rather than blocking. Hopefully the southern refs will continue to ping the baulkers and those that take up the race line of two cars. No Neville Stewart on the list - I'm sure he vwon't be far away!

Can't comment on the drivers from elsewhere around NZ but from what I have seen so far at BP Dean Waddel 81m has it over Brent Em 7m and Shane Mc 26m.
Shane just seems to be missing something this year compared to last years ability to translate power thru traction and go like a rocket. Brent has been very erratic - maybe still coming to terms with the new car. Dean - always comes out and drives well. He's my pick.
