Why would a ex HB driver, now reg Wellington superstock driver be pushing the pit gate closed at Hawkes Bay on 6 Dec. Is he a wannabee Hawkeye? ?

Registering to Wellington next season as my car is still not ready, I am still a fully paid member at Meeanee and always will be, and I help out where I can,On Saturday i helped check all competitors Transponders and did the pit gate as well, just doing my bit to help seen as I am not racing yet.

It's great to see there are some of us out there still helping out where they can I just wish there were alot more guy's out there that would do this instead of wingeing that the race meeting is not going well as there is not enough helpers to run the race meeting pull there finger out and help out. well done marty

Yea good on you Marty there should be more competitors volunteering when not racing its not hard to help out many hands make light work cheers dave4b

well done my hero marty, a lot of clubs are most volenteers at most speedway tracks and a extra pair of hands is always a bonus

A lot of the time Superstock drivers are looked at as rich snobs , but these days many dont even owen there cars, they just drive them, thing is its great to help and get a different perspective on things at ground zero, what you see is awesome I like looking at all drivers faces expressions and eyes as they go out onto the track and when they come back in, such a wide variety of emotion changes lol
