That's not the worst one, it worse when there is no fire crew!
Worst part is this sort of thing is way too bloody common. I quess the track committes say they they are not required too. Quite common for a few tracks to scrimp on firecrew(with working extinguishers) or towtrucks during practice. I have seen Super Saloons practicing before a NZ title with nobody on the infield!!! Such a lovely thought with clear burning methanol during the day.
Even seen a race run with no tow trucks in the centre.

I am sure that Promotion will look at the things that didn't work and change accordingly. For example more Ice Cream Selection

rose were you at the drivers meeting where ian said lets go racin, then it was pointed out that there was no st johns, a ministock father and ian got into a heated exchange. as mike 16a wouldn't back down, ministocks were pulled from race1. " blooody good on mike"
question on here was ------who's was in control of the meeting ?. -----was it raced under SNZ ----- if so do you need to have an ambulance ----- is there a written rule anywhere ----- what is the rule,?
our ministock dosent have a new 08-09 Snz rule book. can't find it on the web site

It seems to me that everyone is jumping up & down at the wrong end of things here... .........The one obvious question to me, that has not yet been answered is of course.......... Why was the ambulance not present at the start time ?? Cheers Wiseowl
