Anzac weekend, Wellington Speedway, 2004. 381S Stockcar was wound off the end of the front straight, full noise. The driver sadly ended with a broken neck, his speedway career ended, far too early for those that knew him and had seen him racing.
Donald Kuriger was a very talented driver, yes he had a dam good car but the reality is, a car is only as good as the person behind the wheel getting the most out of his car.
Donald thankfully made a full recovery and has been out n about at tracks over the past 4 years watching the sport that is in his blood.
Not long ago Donald had a drive in a sprintcar and this sparked the passion to drive again. This passion has now been realised and the Kuriger name is once again going to appear on a racecar.
Welcome back Donald and good luck with your new venture into the Minisprint ranks. I look forward to seeing you back on track and doing what you do best.

awesomes news mr jaffa .are we going to see a kuriger minisprint chassis now? Not just yet, he has purchased the 18P car and hopes to be out in the next couple of weeks. Not confirmed yet but he will more than likely have an H on the car.
