I can sometimes be accused of being a tad negative sometimes so here is something positive.
Is there a better scribe, barrow pusher or publicist for their club than Greg M from 2 K's?
Well done to the likes Of Greg M and Flying The V from Wanganui for your efforts, I know its time consuming and frustrating sometimes but I'm sure some of the fans sitting on the bank at each meet are only there because of your efforts.
I know most tracks have someone who takes this role but these two I have mentioned have a rare enthusiasm that if all had would take Speedway a long way.

Well said Ramjam, Couldn't agree more, Greg certainly puts a big effort in and I'm sure along with a lot of others and the 2K's club his efforts are truly appreciated.

I agree with you Ramjam - most of your comments are negative I also agree that Greg M does a great job. What sets him apart from the others, is his positive attitude, and his abililty to respond positivily and honsetly to anything raised about his club - something alot of people on here could learn from who instantly jump to the defensive positiino " if you dont volunteer you can't say anything" "If you dont like it don;t come back, we dont want you whingers here anyway" A bit of open, honest responses, and information provision goes a long way. I think one other you can add to that mix is Tim S and the work he has done with www.speedway.co.nz There is no doubt that we all have a greater insight into whats happening at SNZ, and a better feel with were the organisaition is going. The engagement over the last 6 months on a wide variety of isssues is unprecedented, and one gets the feeling the directors are being pulled (draggged, kicked and yanked) into the 21st century. It certainly gives one more faith that we might continue to exsist with a sport in the future. Keep up the good work all - your information is truly appreciated. cheers The Observer

Thanks heaps guys I certainly didn't expect to see this thread when I logged on to Macgors. I enjoy getting the clubs name out there so to be honest it doesn't seem like much work. Thankfully Im organising air travel so doing the Wellington-Kihikihi double in the second half of the season won't mean I have to endure the 10 hour bus trips again! It made my day to see these comments though so thanks again guys.

I wish I knew where you got the hours to do the great job you do Greg. We'll have to compare notes some day to see how you do it!!! But otherwise Ramjam, I appreciate the feedback. It is a labour of love that goes back over 40 years & I just feel like I'm giving back something to a sport that has given me great pleasure over a lifetime. Thanks again :-).
p.s. The "Charlie" this Sunday is not to be missed :-).
