:)Just wondering if anyone has any contact with any of the Allison family. The boys raced stockcars back in the late 70s. There was Robert and Neil and the girls name was Gail.

Yes we are still around. Jim (scruitineer at Waikaraka Park for many years) and Beyrl are now well retired and living in Thames. Roberts in Manurewa area, Stuart who only ran the mini saloon class back then is now in Brisbane, I ran in the stockcars and my last year in mini saloons, moved into Offroaders with a few of the stockcar boys at the time, now living near Pukekohe and been into Hotrods for a few years now. Still stay interested through my inlaws Vic,David & Tony Neal. As for Gayle, she is recently remarried and living in Paris,Tennesse, USA. Cheers Neil.

Chooken was Sue Fergusson (lap scorer) back then. My dad Paul Fergusson drove the 89a stockcar for many years before us boys started.

Revhed, I would love to get in touch with Jim and Beryl. Yes i lap scored with Gail and Carol back then. If you are at Waikaraka at any stage go to stockcar 137A and see my son Jamie Fergusson and he will give you my cell phone number or if you can give him their phone number so i can give them a call. That way i will be able to catch up with Gail as well. Im glad to hear you are all doing well, and wish you all a very Merry Xmas and a Happy and Safe New Year. Hope to hear back soon. Cheers.
