well this all seams to hard.... so scotti sorry mate , im not going to offer, anyway just means i'll be drinking in cromwell a couple hours earlier on the 23rd In the end you shouldn't have any problem unless you give them some reason to write out the ticket (like speeding, no lights on trailer, drink driving)

Just tow it Gav. You are fine and wont be fined with what you plan to do. As said earlier, just make sure the lights are working properly before you go. May be wired differently on the trailers regular tow vehicle.

Hey Gav thanks for the offer dude, only just read this thread today, brings a tear to my eye lol How long will it take to get from Chch to Cromwell, without trailer about 4.5 hours? Hope to make it down, will talk to Greg and see if he will have truck road worthy by then.
