Kia ora, Yeah team junkie you're right on the button there. That Fox modified sure was humming. I also agree with the comments from Grandad regarding the 9.5 for Sonja and the team. Considering this was a club night the organisation was up to the mark as usual. Hey Tiaki, For a split second I thought it was you sitting at turn 2 and then remembered .... Green flags and green lights.

Good to see all the children having a great time playing together on the grass behind turns 1 and 2. Not a thing you see much now at speedway. They are happy, mum is happy and I can go racing. Lunchbox.

Was waiting for your comments Murray and you didn't disappoint. After being called to the tower after the first race Murray and you were warned about contact, I defended you and said you did not hit me. Then to listen to your comments to the ref about contact in the saloon class that it should not be happening. The last race you hit me not once but 4 times, you had plently of room to go round the outside but chose to try and run up the inside of me with most of the time cutting the pole line and this is on video. The only reason you didn't get a penalty or did not lose points was that the ref asked me if we wanted to push it any further but being a club night we were happy to leave it as it was - but they will be watching you next time. The last thing we wanted was damage when heading to Whangarei early next morning to be racing at 1pm. As it was we had to fibreglass the rear panel before leaving.

Murray you had more hits in the last race than Elvis, anyone got a photo of 13r after last race. Tony 17r you had a great night 2 x 2nds & 1 x 1st. Great to see 5k get his 50th win.

Thanks for your contribution hoov17m - great to get some balance from the saloon postings. Sounds like you and your team had the right attitude on Friday - some fun racing. good luck for the remainder of the season

If you pay attention coming out of corner 2 13M dropped back so I came into the gap and was in front of 13R. Yes it was tight with all the cars round us. The damage we had to repair was definitely not from that, but the contact we had when 13R and I were out front from the rest of the field. You can see how hard he hit us causing him to lose his bonnet. So you are saying what I did gave 13R every right to do what he did. No - once again its a non contact class.

Hi lunchbox its a pity you wont be there on the 26th and was s shame you hit the wall in the last race as I was impressed with the way you were throwing it in the corners and thought there was no way I was going to catch you hope there was not to much damage The racing was great for most of the night,me and Murray had a great run in the first and in the second Murray and young Cowling had a real battle both races were fast and clean Murray's driving was exceptional was just the last which he had a lapse in concentration may be the age getting to him
I Enjoy the racing at Rotorua and its one of the best The people are neat and always willing to help the Refs are great and fear and will listen to both side of the story before making a discussion and the track surface this year don't know what Stan and his team done but its been fantastic The hole place is geart and its what racing should be FUN
