isnt it funny how some north islanders take us from the south for granted???.... im sure if lizard had any idea on superstock racing down this way, they would know that theirs more than 2 quick cars down this way !! maybe its time for the title to return to the south
higgie is long overdue !!

Some south island drivers are soooo under rated. One caught my eye last season. Campbell McManaway.... Also watch out for the guys from Nelson......Dale Ewers is always one to watch

Asked her to look on the ticketek website and was told there net wasn't working while her workmate opposite was on Facebook. Not happy and still dont have my tickets Got ours the other day no problems at all. Lady was very helpful

Excuse my ignorence but how many meetings has Scott Joblin done this year in a superstock? Has he done his maditory 3 meetings in this class as a new driver? Not trying to start a slanging match but am asking as i have been told that as I have had a season off, i must do 3 meetings to qualify for a SNZ championship, I have applied for a licence as both a Stockcar and Superstock competitor. I believe he has done 1 in Simon J's car, but there are certainly opprtunities between now and then to do two more. Remember FWJ hasn't done any yet...........

Well I'm not sure what's going on, but have had the word Dave Tarrant has re-entered, after entering then withdrawing. So that's back up to 73 cars/drivers I think it is.................

What car has Scott Joblin got? I will still pick Roydon Collingwood....long overdue When i last visited Keith Gills workshop in September there was a pile of steel that was destined for Scott Joblins garage, but was yet to be built into a superstock. That garage indicated a chev from les vegas was on the cards for it. Either way, there were a few Keith Gill cars from the taranaki - Phil Ogle in 282s, Roydon Collingwood was there in 94p, and supposedly boxing day the new joblin Gill chassis will be appearing. Surely there are nearly 1 dozen decent superstocks in the naki now? Next season they should all contract at home - now that would be awesome, to see the S start to come to the fore. With the quality of cars and drivers there surely we'd see at least 6 qualify for the NZ title. Which would take 6 cars away from PN, and would end there dominance of that title with any luck. and no, i'm not forgettting the rotorua win last year. Either way, this years should be a cracker if there are 5 Nelson cars that make through to the 2nd night. And will Craig Boote drive it at the big meeting, the home of his first NZ title 11 years ago?? And just for Barry Brown - Surely Scott Redfern would have to be the top hope for the central north island, even if he is dicing with the devil putting special cams in for the meeting. Can't wait - heres hoping theres rain on saturday night!

hopefully they can talk some of these guys like collingwood to race for the scrappers in the up an coming superstock champs. Considering palmy have already have a pool of drivers I think it would add strength to the event.
Anyway going to Christchurch to see the superstocks, the draws look quite even I hope the promotion consider any late entries and the weather plays its part. Hopefully Clive Elliot makes the final 26

Every time I go to the 'Red Shed' or as its also known as, 'Tindalls house of bargains', I skim thru a book on NZ weather predictions for the weather prediction for any upcoming big speedway meetings. In the latest '09 book, it had the weather for that weekend to be fine, warm & sunny. That books been pretty accurate for the last few years so looks like we are in for a great weekend. Craig
