I think we generally agreed that we're not so fond of boy racers turning up to our meetings and interrupting the racing with burnouts and skids, so this has to be some pretty good payback ;D

Here's a couple of vids of Steve Hampton's 66R having a play at the Thunder In The Park race meeting at Pukekohe earlier in the month taken from the start/finish flag box.

There are two icons that the smilys on this board need - one for shaking the head, and the other for shruggin the shoulders.

Shaking the head and this one would be suitable in this instance i think.

Get a stockcar Marty - you;d save money and race more.

It does sound fantastic bonez, but that monster rotor is something else!

I remember Mike Johnson? 78V Superstock pulling some great burnouts at the Heads Road Drags in Wanganui a few moons ago now, maybe early to late 90's.

Really got the crowd growing, maybe be proud to be a speedway fan, Mike sure showed them how to do proper burnouts!

I second that - be great to see any other footage. I think there has been a supersaloon at a skidfest before?

And I seem to remember some footage of blondie in his rover supersaloon doing the ashley forest sprints?

Mr Observer, its about time this footage was re-released into the community, a Super Saloon at Ashley Forest, that, Id love to see!
