I was really proud to be there supporting them. When I was looking at how their cars were after the 1st night a couple of people from the team came up & said hello as they saw me cheering for them (I was kinda noticable ;D). Great PR & a truly humbling moment as a supporter. I live in Auckland & I will always support my home track but I really hope this team stays together as they have the attitude & ability to be a team I can have a ball supporting.

well we got back about 9pm last nite after the big haul back from welly. the trip wasnt so bad cause we were all still buzzing about the weekend. the cars went well, the drivers went well & all the crew were amazing. we would never have been able to do it without all our support & crew, i must say a huge thanks to the crew of all 6 cars as they all worked in together to help us were ever they were needed. being 1 of the only teams (if not the only) to not have 1 driver called up or fined for any reason made our weekend. the only disapointment of the weekend was that between the whole team i think we only mangd to fill 1 rubbish bin of empty bottles at the camp site ha ha ha. a huge thanks must go out to grunta. (our manager) he made our weekend a hell of alot easier with his organisation & put a big effort in to every part of the weekend. thanks grunta. we look forward to the kihikihi teams now & look forward to the same team turning up to welly next year to bring the teams champs back to auckland!! thanks everyone for all your help & support i know it made my first teams champs a very enjoyable but hard one!! 1 last huge thanks is to paulie rawiri for the use of his car this year your a legend mate & also his old man for spending all his spare time working on the car getting it ready! thanks again.. jamie fergusson 333a

Fantastic Effort, with the right backing of the club and the share determination and teamwork, if you are able to build on this season you are going to be hard to stop.

Take a bow team , sounds like you did you're club proud. Looking forward to talking about how we can keep building on your success. What ever the final result, clearly this was a "team" effort, every body is talking about a committed team who had a plan and showed determination. Bernie Bernie; they did far more than just the club proud. They showed everyone that despite all the off season drama there is still a core bunch who are proud to put an A on their cars and tell everyone they are there, loud and proud and ready to defend the Auckland name to the hilt. Grunta was great to deal with on the infield and never once rolled his eyes when I wanted a quick word. he was well spoken, even when under pressure and a credit to the team. I mentioned that before the meeting on the PA that even through I have had my problems with Wai prk over the years I hope that this can be the start of something great for the club/track. Great to see a smattering of die hard Auck's around the track as well!!

grunta did well dealing with -snz . lol want to ellaborate on that? I'm presuming this was to do with the eventual disqualification of Baypark - who crossed the line first by means deemed foul rather than fair. I was sitting next to a rather vocal Auckland supporter (I guess there were three in total, not two) on the second night... I heard about it first.
