For what was often thought of as the group of death you did you, your supporters, and of course Auckland and Wai Park proud.
A big upset over HUntly with a very sharp display of driving, then an oh so close race with Wellington that inflicted a lot of damage.
All of your team performed way above my expectations, the cars were well prepared and finished races, and dished out plenty of big hits. Awesome work, and if they stay together will be a force to be reckoned with
well done.

I agree the the Alleycats did extremely well but my question would be what is the point of having Rose Halfpenny in the team if she was not going to be used. She has team racing experience and drives as well as if not better than many other drivers. Maybe she is their secret weapon for tonight.

Rose hasnt been used so far as she has a superstock that is being towed all the way to Chch and if she was to get hurt, it would be a waste of someones time, effort and money.

Rose was in the plate final and will benefit from the experience. The Alleycats did really well and I was proud to support them. Lets hope the team stays together over the next couple of sesasons as they will continue to get better. Well done to the team, the pit crews and all involved within the team

Certainly surprised me on their 1st race performance in giving the Raiders a good old spanking Thought nuts these boys are the real deal And they certainly showed that on both nights

Indeed the Alleycats did this Auckland fan proud on both nights. I actually found another Auckland fan in the arena so there were two of us.
The tactics were clear and they threw something different at the other teams, especially at the start of the races. The win over Rotorua would rate as my highlight, that was a gutsy come from behind win against a quality opposition.
I did think they were very lucky to be awarded the victory over Baypark. 11m Scott Fredrickson drove the best runners race of the weekend and withstood all sorts of attacks with what at times was minimal support. But you have to make the most of your luck and it's great they finished fifth.
Go Auckland

just back from welly my brief comment not only a bunch of team drivers who left individual egos behind to be a team, but behind the scenes were a whole bunch of team players in the crews who pitched in everywhere.

Take a bow team , sounds like you did you're club proud. Looking forward to talking about how we can keep building on your success. What ever the final result, clearly this was a "team" effort, every body is talking about a committed team who had a plan and showed determination. Bernie

From a Palmerston North supporters eyes Being an ex Waikaraka Park boy as a lad I still take abit of intrest in the Auckland Teams. This team that performed on this weekend done all of Auckland and NZ Stockcars proud. There determination on track each race, sometimes going there way, sometimes not, the main thing was the never say die attitude that made people believe they are a region that is looking to take one back! All drivers & crew be proud.
