it was great to have murray guy up their in the commentor box talking to the commentors they pick on each other for fun and murray guy making fun of not many north islands in the top 10 pole shuffle great idea. One of pick on each other discussion one of the commentors said about his age when he retires he needs a standing frame, but one of the comments that i got a bit upset with was when he was talking about the mobitity cards that you sometimes see on cars that disabled people use and old people that need a good park to get to the shops. I dont think that is professional at all.

Murray was poking fun at Tony Cardwell and later on, at Greg Keegan about their age. If I recall correctly he was talking about mobility "cars" (and by that I think the correct term for what he means is mobility scooters) not mobility "cards".

... but one of the comments that i got a bit upset with was when he was talking about the mobitity cards that you sometimes see on cars that disabled people use and old people that need a good park to get to the shops. I dont think that is professional at all. Apologies for not making myself clear fellow speedway fan. No reference was made to mobility cards. Discussion included the fact that Greg Keegan appears to be a champion in modifieds, super saloons. I responded that given his age he will no doubt be a champion in a 'mobility scooter / cart next. PS: I'm far from professional, was just invited as a non-competing competitor to contribute, helps make the professionals look more professional ... and it obviously works! :D Thanks for your feedback.

i guess as the third (and forth lol) person in the room, murray had no intention of offending anybody, he was merely having a light hearted poke at several drivers that are now in their twilight years, and has an abosolute respect for the drivers he was talking about, if you take the whole conversation in context you will see that there was no intention of demeaning mobility cards and persons with disibility, he was commenting on their fine racing careers and their twilight years....
murray was a non paid guest who provided added talking points and spiced up the conversations with some light hearted banter, he is a true speedway fan.... it was a pleasure having him behind the mic....

Jeez, whats happened to us as a nation, we are so quick these days to take offence at some very little things! Must be a result of the last so many years living in a nanny state.
