Is anyone else of the opinion that the GP should be in the same Island as the NZ's?
This year the super saloons were in the South Island and the GP in the Nth. I am sure this will have a limit on the number of Sth I cars for the GP.
Same prob next year with the NZ's at Huntly and the GP in Dunedin.
If in the same Island, and of course clubs worked together, they could be in consectutive weekends with maybe something midweek. Three meetings for one ferry trip.

the GP should co-incide with either the NZ's or the NI's or SI's that way it doesn't need to involve 2 seperate trips

Co-inciding the GP with the Island tiltles still won't entice as many inter-Island competitors. For instance you could have the NI champs one week and the GP the next week (in the NORTH iSLAND), and the Sth Island travelers can still only do one meet. (unless they enter the NI champs and don't do the SI champs.)
It's only the very keen that will cross the waters for a GP only meet.
