There has been a few instances like this Jamo91. I have up dated this list that now includes you! It was from an email I got the other day. There are more but I can't type that quick.
" A man asked his wife where she wanted to go for their anniversary, It warmed his heart to see her face melt in such appreciation. She suggested somewhere she hasn't been for a while. He suggested the kitchen ..........and thats's when the fight started
A man and his wife were sitting at a table at his high school reunion, we kept staring at a drunken lady sitting at a near by table alone swigging her drinks back. My wife asked if I knew her. He sighed yes, she's my old girlfriend, and she took to drinking right after we split up and hasn't been sober since. The wife said oh my god, who would think someone could celebrate that long...........and thats's when the fight started.
When I got home last night my wife demanded I took her someplace expensive, so I took to a gas station.........and that's when the fight started
and now for you Jamo91. One day Jamo91 was at a very average meeting with buga all cars and spectators and was asked to man the pit gate by the Hippy promoter. Jamo91 said no he wouldn't......... and that's when the fight started! :-)

Hahaha. Its so good to read that the Waikaraka Park Circus is still puting on ringside shows. Maybe Abringmasterhams needs to put his head in the lion, we all wana see if it bites it off. ;D Where was the committe while last night was happing? Surely there has to be a light at the end of the tunnel for that place or has someone blocked off the hole? I cant believe its still happening, all those years of arguing and fighting that it was "Franks fault", nothing seems to change. Maybe we should bring back Grant King

OK, I'll play Devils Advocate here. I left the track in a pretty good mood last night (and not just because I managed to get out and back to the track 3 times and onto the trailer without a hint of damage). I thought it was a reasonably enjoyable night. Sure enough the format was far more suited to a Sunday afternoon Club meeting, but the reason it was on a Wednesday is somewhat valid and it was organised a while back I believe, not just on a whim a few days ago. Also, rather than $15 for spectators everyone through the gate, competitors included, should have been charged $5, help offset the costs a bit more. But that was about all they really got wrong. Stockcars, Ministocks, Vintage Stocks, Vintage Midgets, 1/4 Midgets, Solos, Sidecars, Saloons and a couple of Mods (about 60 - 70 competitors in all I believe). A bit of something for all sorts and a chance to wander around the pits and look at the machinery. 40+ events all run in about 3 hours flat. Sure enough it wasn't the excitment of a Championship or Teams meeting but if you are trying to compare it to that...... get real!!!!! A1 GP at Taupo this weekend, only 6 races in a whole day! Regardless of what cars are there, do you think that is value for money? ?? The Top Gear tour is pretty much sold out, but I get the feeling that if it was WP organising those shows, there would still be people having a whine about it, just because it was WP.

WP for 5 bucks mid week yes, 15 no. The show will struggle mid week if solos are your draw card, regardless if they are international or not.

The difference is Crumpy that if WP was organising the TopGear shows you wouldnt know until you got there that Jeremy Clarkson and Hammond wern't turning up and Abes was the Stig

Why do you think they always keep the the helmet on, not a mug I'd use for my promotion ;D ;D ;D On a serious note though, I see the Springs is running a meeting next Wednesday. I wonder how many people will be slagging them off for running mid-week?
