Tonight in the clubrooms the guys from www.kiwisimracing.net.nz will be setting up in the clubrooms post 248's tonight with a full raceseat and the new KSR Superstock Mod for rFactor. Anyone is welcome to pop over and have a look at the game etc, but they are asking the Superstock drivers to get in there and have a go so they can get feedback on how it feels compared to the real thing. Here are some pics of what you may see there. On the left in the first pic is the setup the will be there for the guys to drive on. The second just shows a couple of legends tanks in game. That setup is looking awesome for the drivers to have a go. Great work by the people involved at KSR and the new mod is coming along good. Hope the drivers have fun and enjoy the experience, plus this is a great way to get feedback from real life drivers. Good stuff KiwSimRacing.  |

I had a go in the clubrooms on it and dam it was fun!! Bit hard to get used to and as i said to the guy who owned it etc the setup on the cars were a tad off, you either buldozed in the corners or it spun itself if you went to hard.
BUT all in all its a great game, good fun and with a few little tweaks here and there it will be the best simulator out there i feel.

Have to say what a wicked set up this is.. over heard that this set up would put ya back $7000...  I had a skid an found the set up pretty good...  pulled out a 18.1 lap time round palmy... ;D Was told that you can tweak the set up to suit your driving style from Brake bias/ tyre pressures/ rev limiter / gear ratios etc, Was watching Ngatai hogging the drivers seat for awhile lol, I watched young Norris (Lee) get the grips of the 77p car and taking the chequr flag in a race. ;D Also was told Scott & Jack Miers had a skid? some of the poms even had a skid!, This Superstock game is going to be insane for the off season. Thanks to Bryden for his time and set up of all the gear, to be able to get the feedback that the Development Team need to hear, to get this mod out to the public... ET |
