Good on you Bernie for trying, but "my lips are sealed on last minute discussions" wont get us back to the park in decent numbers, it sounds like used car salemans talk. We've been reemed by the park too often in recent years to go along with that! Mods and superstocks excellent, if there is a good field of supers arriving fantastic, but how likely is it that the mods will be supported by them with the NIs coming up? Post a list of supers that have agreed to enter the Ollie Brown and no BS, throw in the stockcar class and we will put up with mini this and mini that classes as supporting acts, in return I will bring a group of people who have never been to the park before. This deal comes with a 24 hour warrany!! ( sorry to be rude Bernie but some fecker down there has to learn we cant be treated like shyte forever)

I said in the commentary at Stratford that those guys (and gal) were probably racing in the only 20 car field of the season. I was hoping I'd be proved wrong...........

They wouldn,t have a clue who was coming, unless of course Jamo let them know, You can bet your ass it will be him doing the hard yards to get some cars there not the promoter. Gee Whizz, they cant even tell us what the support classes are . . . . a week out from the event

This thread was about the Mods , ill get something up about the rest of the meeting over the weekend. Please remember that driver list is a week old, there was a few engine blows and other damage at the NZs a couple of weeks back. Craig is working his butt off talking to owners and drivers, we don't want to put up a list and then have a bunch of no shows because repairs weren't finished.
While I know some comments are aimed at individuals, please think about collateral damage, the mod guys themselves as a class are out raising funds to support the prize pool, they are working hard to make this thing succeed.
Craig will be up dating the committee Monday night and the list will be up dated Tues /Wed,

Good on you bernie and others for trying to make the Dirt Cup a success. Well done also for not being baited by some of the posters on Macgors who continue to have a pop at the goings on at WP. I like many fans want to be informed as much as possible so we can then decide on which track to head to. It sounds as though a couple like Zitadel and Gribbs are undecided at this stage but are interested. The more info you can give the likes of those two and others will make the difference between having an ok crowd and hopefully a big crowd enjoying a great nites racing. Good luck and all the best for the meet

It was either car salesman or "real estate agent" wasnt it, a compliment for sure, either way THE SHOW MUST GO ON (Freddy Mercury) ;D ;D ;D

Plenty more? Really?? Where from??? There isn't any more, which is a real shame. Merv Julian told me down at Palmy he was not going, which is one of the 50/50's off the list. By my count that may leave 20, which would be a good field.

A lot of people, judging by questions often asked of major meetings. Who doesn't care? tq59 obviously. Will you be there?

G'day TQ59,Mods are cool but every class needs support thats all. no disrespect to the mods. I hope they don't die out as some people are suggesting. 3 mods races doesn't make a meeting no matter how many mini this and that you have. Its a 20 buck meeting that deserves minimum 3 top classes. 9 top races out of 18 to 20, that leaves 9 or so secondary races. It turns into a long night otherwise and then people go away thinking, oh, that was shyte, and all of a sudden, an excellent display by one class, in this case the mods, gets relegated by the over all impression of the meeting. Sorry to have offended any open wheeler fans but I fear there may be no mods without rockers in the future. So, is it Mods and rockers or is it Mods and minis?
