hi yes i have withdrawn from the teams race for sat night. after putting up with the pain for a week i thought i would go to doctors to get xrays just to make sure nothing was broken but to my disapointment i found out ive got some broken ribs. so will take a few weeks off racing and get my car all ready to go so hopefully i can make it into the starting team to race the maulers. cheers to scott and team for making it very clear im still part of the gizzy team and i will have involvment with the team during the week and on sat nite.

How can the Gizzy selecters pick Brett Lloyd over other Gizzy team members that have done the hard yeards this season and have put themselves and there cars on the line all ready. I think any car with a G on it should get a preference over a P car that is a club member.

Stocky131. Are there any others willing to put their hands up to teams race, or is Brett filling an injury hole. He has raced for Gizzy in the past.
1nz Fan. Usually Gizzy run the one off teams race early in the night, then run three normal races that involve the local cars and the un-broken teams cars that still wan to race. Hope this helps.
Should be a good night. Stuck in the Mount working this weekend and no speedway here. Very sad.

He's quite happy to race for the Mount against Gisborne this weekend to free up a spot in the Gladiators for you if you are volunteering stocky131?

I have nothing against Bertt, I just feel that the men that have put the hard work in all ready should get first right to race.

I too hope that Brett is racing because no other Gisborne registered driver can make the racing on the night. This whole thing of cars from other registered tracks makes a mockery of a Teams Racing. You are racing for your Club have they forgotten that these days, don't agree on ring in's no matter who it is unless it is a select team from a number of tracks. If its a Gisborne Baypark Teams race all the cars in each team should be registered with those tracks...my thoughts anyway.
