The 501GM car that everybody remembers from the NZ champs in Wellington. Now 7C. wat happened in wellington if you are refering to the 501gm car at the nz's in welly, it was rolled during one of the heats and landed back on the track with the cage facing oncoming traffic. with most of the pack in hot pursuit it was driven into and the result was not to pretty.

The 9P is apparently a Gordge copy with the running gear out of 66P. The 66P (ex 72R/94R/7N1NZ/66P) chassis was converted to a std stock. The photo of 9p is the last meeting it did as a super/a grade. Was run for the teams champs, then striped to build a new 9p out of the Hyslop shed.

Not such a great picture but think this is the ex 66p car, now a stockcar in the hands of Stephen Biddulph from Blenheim

Time for a 2009/2010 update. The Gordge cars at the 2010 World 240s. 89R New this season, the Geoff James car being brilliantly driven by Dale Robertson. Uses the running gear out of the Stanaway 62R. And two ex Geoff James cars, the 58P of Peter Bengston and the 492I of Campbell McManaway. 591P Red Waka is still a very quick car in Wayne Hemi's hands. The two other 'new generation' cars of Malcolm Ngatai 1NZ and Stan Hickey 515R DollyII. The ex DollyI now in the hands of the McRobbies. Formally driven by Scott Redfern, now driven by Dean Condor. The ex 1NZ Hunter car, now driven by Kenneth Hunter. Another ex 1NZ, 92R Kyle Fraser.

I'm pretty sure 4GB is one of Neil McCords machines the bottom of the roll cage looks like his work No it was definatly built by Gordge as a Stockcar way back for Dayne Wright, used to run a Rover V8, Dayne did have a McCoard car later on , that car was the car that Dave Tarrent had last season.

yea teamratt you are correct. the 4gb car is the concoard car built & maintained by neil mccoard. it isnt the gordge dayne had built by gordge with the rover. the gordge car was in the hands of dave tarrants brother (ex 66p) the 4gb car was the car dave tarrant raced last year & they copied & built the brand new one that tarrants racing now.

Thanks for clearing that up guys, sometimes hard to keep up with all the Palmy goings on. So the new 57P is a copy of a McCord which is a copy of a Gordge. The 4GB car is the old 57P which was the old 7R McCord. What has happened to last seasons 56P which was originally Dayne Wright's std stock Gordge?
