The Gordge "Hot Rod from Hell". This car hasn't had a whole lot of success in individual events, but it has certainly been a top teams racer. i think that car is now 484s Haydin Barker

No it does now belong to Haydin Barker 484s who did a deal with Grant Mytton on the ex 99r, with his stockcar.

Darryl Hammond raced this gordge for half a season then changed back to his chassis don't know the story behind this. The ex Hobbs, Boote 1nz I think pallmall can help with this

47C Nigel Keats is his car a gordge?? No, can't remember for sure at the moment, and my notes are packed away while I reorganise, but I think that may be the Gordge copy ex Darcy Hunter/Dave Tennant, possibly Kelly built.

The ex Hobbs, Boote 1nz I think pallmall can help with this The 43P is the ex Team Green car, now 61A, while it still had the Ford. Fits in to this group between the two 24P photos, which is why it was only 43P for half a season. It was a share/loan/lease deal between 24P and 43P after purchase from Grant King. The fullish history is up in the early pages. Not too sure about the 9P being the 72R/94R/7N/66P car though, but anything is possible. Will have to check to see if Whittaker had 66P at the same meeting. I thought 9P was a Palmy built copy.

Think that that is the original chassis and then they copied it and swapped all the running gear over and from memory the chassis became a standard stock in wellington

Think that that is the original chassis and then they copied it and swapped all the running gear over and from memory the chassis became a standard stock in wellington The original chassis, which was upgraded by Rex Nield and Murray Hobbs from 72R would have been getting very tired. So, 9P is the copy chassis with the 66P running gear and the original chassis went to wellington as a Std Stock. The 9P has some later Gordge features that the original chassis did not have, so they must have copied a few things from a later chassis when the build was done.
