Hey Pallmall, I was wondering whether the 72R of Lyle Rumney, is this the same car driven by Shane Penn at the Palmie teams Champs that sent the 10C of Brian Johnson flying during the Rebals v Eagles race..

I know this thread is about Gordge Hot Rod Superstocks III and not about trailers ( that'll come later), but I also like this shot of Peter Locke running over the CSL trailer, after he'd hit it first. so here it is. 28K ENZED Teams Champs 2009

I would really appreciate any photos of 57A/157R when Mark Woods had it, and its subsequent owners. Was promised some, but they never turned up.

Decided to put up my shots of the Rowlands / Mytton Ford SVO in order.... NZ Champs in Palmy; World 240's in Roto - Got rolled over by Geoff James in Heat 3; In Hawkeyes bodywork 1 week out from the Teams Champs; and lastly at the end of the season, and I think went off to Mytton during that first off-season;

While I'm at it, here's my lot of the Geoff James / Pete Bengston Hot Rod; NZ Champs in Napier - didn't make it past practice due to engine problems; Last night as 3nz - NZ Champs in Palmy; World 240s in Roto; Sold - Delivered to Meeanee Speedway where Pete Bengston drove it for the night then took her home; Also 59b Tony True in behind in the ex 0r I think. And during Pete's Ownership;

Peter Locke taking the first drive in the new 28K after it's rebirth at CSL a week before the 2009 Palmy Teams Champs. I think this pic defines "hot rod".

if you want an example of how good these cars are you only have to look at the speedway archives, only twice, since the 91/92 season has a gordge chassis not finished in the top 3 in the NZ champs
