66m and 4m in synchronised flip lap 1, both out 57m, 1nz, 22a qualify for dash Have they changed the format, as it was only going to be the first two from each heat that would go straight into the final and the dash.

Well BB thought the D main was still happening but I understand that is tomorrow. We will let him off as he has had a busy night in the commentators box. Roll on tomorrow. I guess there will be a lot of lights burning in workshops tonight. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Yes, I must admit I didn't even write down the D Main result....I'm sure it will be on the PN website.
Will try and do updates tonight as well, but as I spend quite a bit of my time in the pits somebody else may beat me too it.
Certainly a lot to talk about after last night.......

Well as a spectator last night it was an awesome night of action.
The qual heats were action from the moment the flag dropped with driver fist swings in all directions. The frustration must be hard in a NZ title but hay its racing these things happen.
The palmy team did an awesome job with track and organisation. Crowd was poor however the track action was awesome even the stockcars put on a good show. The tq's were awesome to see.
The damage on these cars and the pits were worse than ss teams and the amount of work goin on through the nite will be huge.
Lets hope for an awesome nights racing and the winners with definitely earn their 1, 2, 3 NZ

Top three from each heat progress straight to Final. From Palmy website: 19a Jamie Duff 48t Jason Scott 0usa Jonathon Allard 51m Rodney Wood 10usa Ricky Logan 6p Nelson Hartley 21p Peter Huijs 18a Greg Pickerill 78a Daniel Eggleton 57m Aaron McConachy 1nz Carl Wilson 22a Dean Brindle The balance of the 20 car final is made up from those that progress through the alphabet (D Main, C Main and B Main).

Who actually qualified for tonights final ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Have no idea from reading posts here and looking at Parmy web results night 1 The cars that are in the Dash are locked into the final and will determine the grids from 1-12. 13-20 will be found after the B main has been completed. In some cases the cars that transfer from the B main have a better idea of what setup to use as they have had more time on the track on that night, as the cars that made the dash the night before have only got the dash to get a feel for the track and then they have to get ready for the final.

The racing lastnight was out of it, the sprintcars are just so fast and heaps of crashes in front of wear i was sitting, and one of the drivers was so angry as he got taken out , that he evan went over to the the other driver and tryed to beat him up. They had security pulling him of the other driver!!
