Great night for Palmy to debut the ELS on the big screen - made the time trials interesting and relevant.
Well done to Nic, Dean and Jeremy for making it happen!
PS Ron Tye has just rolled Shane Simpson in the first stockcar race

Having a big screen with that info must be brilliant as you normally miss some of it with all the noise. Has anyone else used a big screen before? I have often said BP could do with one - hang on I'll see if I have any loose change in my pocket

Give a choice of watching ELS on a screen or watching racing - racing hands down. However watching racing AND being able to see the ELS data. That would be good. Of couse I am at home in Tauranga watching neither (actually watching Macgors for results). Speaking of which - any more?

Hadn't realised they were running this format until just now . Glad I'm a long way from there now . Can't see why we're allowing speedway to become so boring .

'made the time trials interesting and relevant.'not as interesting for the fans as real racing I bet . Depends on what sort of fan you are macgor. I'm happy with the time trial format as run at baypark (it's run quickly and efficiently) but then I'm a Sprint Car fan

Basically like most people I go to speedway to watch cars racing cars , not clocks . Like I say , glad I'm not there . Big thumbs down too, to Palmy for not advertising the format .
They might start doing that with the stockcars soon Gordon That'll be the day when they've run out of real stockcar drivers .lol.
At least Nelson are doing it the right way for the NZ Midgets. Fans have already seen some good racing and incidents

Big thumbs down too, to Palmy for not advertising the format . Don't know what Palmy did or didn't do - But I do remember someone posting info about the format on here a while ago. As for Stockcars I agree with you. Then it will definiately be about flag racing - anyway thats a OT and the wrong board for this talk. We better watch out in case the Administrator see this ;D
