I could not believe what i was watching Saturday night. The sooner these Blue and Red hat officals sort thier nuts out and lift the standard of Officialdom the better. 1) The accident between Beale and Clarkson was deamed to be a Racing Accident. How can it be when Clarkson was on the outside and Beale came off the pole and slammed Clarkson to the wreck he has now. Beale turned right,so how can that be a RACING ACCIDENT? ? We all know Beale's eyesight has gone since his big crash in the States. So why are Drivers not eye tested when signing up for a race licence?? 2) 96a went for about 20 odd laps in that final only to be black flagged for being too Noisey. Why did it take 20 laps to figure that out?? Or was it because Bill Buckley's son was 2nd so the only way to get him to win is to black flag the leader.I was told by a official that #33a was too noisey for the whole race and if it went any further he was going to be black flagged. So why was he not done earlier?? 3) Why was Raymond given the blackboard on the yellow when he had 5-6 laps under green with the front wing like that. Yet, there have been some features where cars have lost front wings like etc..... and have not been dealt with. The place has a major problem. The driver standard has picked up along with equipment, so WHY cant SNZ pick it up and be more professional???

Not when one of said officials was stuffing his face full of burger when the Beale/Clarkson "incident" happened.
Incompetent springs to mind.

hmmmmmm
Perhaps the team of the 80's and early 90's is needed to get this place back on track. In fact there have been some nights where damage has been more than a whole season back when the "not affraid of make a decision" officals were in charge.....
Those who followed speedway at the springs in the 80's up to around 1993 will know what I mean......

Ok......
My list of officals would be
SNZ Steward Carl Drever Asst Steward John Bruce (would view from Town Bend) Asst Steward Bob Kennedy (would view from Pinetree)
SNZ Referee Bill Clarkson Snr Asst Referee Ian Armstrong (would view from infeild at town bend) Asst Referee Colin Irwinn(would view from infeild at pinetree Assistant Referee Len Gardner (would view from starters box)
The Steward and Referee would be in control tower controlling racing.
Give this team 3 weeks and all the rubish that has been going on would stop as too would the noise issue and the wheel to wheel racing that we love would be back to how it should be!

Aaron, I'll go with that line up, but these still 1 fly in the ontment, & he is Bill Buckly - still wants to play God!! & proberly would dictate the terms to the officals.

I will be making a formal complaint to SNZ about the incompetent officiating that is at Western Springs Speedway. This is not the first indecent and I am not the only driver to be disgusted at some of his/there calls. However i am probably the only one to stand up and finally say something.......lets see what happens.

Paul, your conspiracy theories in regards the Springs have progressed over time from left field,to now being nothing more than delusional.
