Hello all drivers and fans,
Just confirming that tomorrow Kihikihi will definitely be running superstocks as a standalone class.
The numbers indicating attendance should see the largest field of supers at Kihikihi this season. Time is running out for drivers to get a run in before NZ champs.
The next meeting at Kihikihi is the King Country superstocks event, which is sure to be a big one aswell.
Any drivers wishing to come tomorrow for a skid, please give me a buzz so I know to expect you.
Thanks
Rick- Kihikihi superstock Rep 021 767063

Should be a full contingent of locals.
23K looks like we should be all good for a skid tomorrow, just some minor cosmetics to finish up.
28K should be there aswell, will be interesting to see how the flash new transmission goes.
Not too sure if Dave Baker will make an appearance or not. But with visitors expected from Huntly, Rotorua, Hawkes Bay and even a possibility of a few from further afield depending on the weather we should be in for a good meeting.
Obviously, with any new car packages expect a few niggly problems, but better to find out now than in jan/Feb.

A massive jump start, not the first time (in fact, also race one same day)and likely not the last.13r saloon Grid 2 is first on the track, leads the track pack. Grid one tries to force the pace and knows he should be able to see grid 2 car but chooses to move ahead. Class rep is in the referees box with the officials who are 'happy with the start and race despite cars on grid 1 and 3 being in front at the drop of the flag ... It will be a fresh, great start for speedway and the saloon class when race rules for saloons are applied. The present system which allows officials to hide behind the BS cloaks of "Didn't see, etc) and force competitors to be the policemen is absolutely unacceptable. Competitors should NOT have to pay $'s, stand around at the whim of officials, to ensure they do their job. Perhaps SNZ officials might like to help me with mine, clean, refuel my car in the pits. On learning reality, officials advice that as I failed to keep pace with the car in grid one it was assumed I was in grid four! Race one of the saloons had grid one half a car length in front on the drop of the flag - I wonder what excuse would be provided if asked? What is confusing about GRID TWO sets the pace and the lead car at the drop?

as a person in the crowd it was appauling mess in the middle of speedway the staff at best were in fact very slow and as for the ministock race was not good either.had they have had the usual staff it would be as smooth as
my final comment is BRING BACK FLAGGY

as a rescue worker I find that the track staff were slow even down to the fact that one turned up two to three minutes late that is after the first young lady got K'O ed and the med crew were not in their usual place that is in the truck in the in field with theses people not in their right spots it is just shear luck that no one was killed this must be fixed Oh and by the way Bring Back Flaggy
