Has the Eagles team been named for Saturday night yet? I hope the Tigers are not taking these guys lightly remember what happened last year after beating them in the first round.

It rests with each win so whoever wins round two holds it.
With, as Marty noted, two stockcars in the opposition, you'd be hoping Nelson could get the job done tomorrow but in first past the post, there's no room to relax.

It was home and away last season and 1-1 The last three season's have been 1-1, Tigers winning the second race in the 1st two season's, holding the trophy over the two winter's, and the eagle's holding it over the winter from last season. Go the eagles

Win to Nelson, very one sided after 1st lap.

It was a blitz. Glen Eagles fronted with four cars -- all superstocks, Brad Rosewarne making it up here. Andrew Good was out on the first lap, Daryl Peterson and Blair Cunningham blocked effectively allowing Brendan Higgins to swap the lead with Shane Harwood. Tigers 1,2,4,5 ... Shane Anderton 3rd to avoid the down trou.

His bus was in Palmy last night but he wasn't doing the NI superstocks because he'd already done the SI. Just north looking for more racing, I guess. Fairly sure he wouldn't be looking to meet the Tigers again in a hurry after his shot on Ewers.

Spoke to him last night in Palmy, said he's planning on doing the Teams Champs if he's picked, so I guess it's more a case of him being picked rather than not wanting to do it.
