`Fat' filled his role to a T and also ran ahead of Boote and Harwood in an open race for a few laps. He's good to go for Palmy ... and watch out for this week's release of issue 3 of National Speedway Scene :-)

congrats for the eagles for showing up anyway and having the nads to face the tigers. from where i was the teams race was very lack lustre, even to the point where the tigers backed off from total decimation of the eagles. bigger fish to fry i suppose. have heard that panther is a bit chewy thou ;D ;D

Funny how there arnt many Chch cars to do the local teams races, but when Palmys coming up they all want to have the Glory... I think only the ones that have done the local team races should be considered... Only my thought.

With him and Higgy in the team they can both block and run (good race readers), can't wait.

Well just got back from Nelson great trip.Well done tigers after watching the last two teams races i think the panthers best be a lot concerned.Well done eagles I'm still a very proud supporter, you guys went well for a team that has never raced together before as a team. Also good call by the Nelson committee to hold of for 30 mins because of weather. Please excuse my ignorance but i heard Dave talking about Burson what happened to him.

From the Burson Racing Team :- Burs's condition has nothing to do with diving.....but has been diagnosed as a viral strain of meningitis. Burs is now feeling alot better, resting up and Super Saloon 21N is ready to go and Burs will be in Huntly.

I've just got back home from sunny Nelson (although not sunny on the night of the McCall). Sorry to say it to the red-and-blacks, but the team really wasn't up to much. There will have to be a considerable change in mindset and tactics before Palmy if their fortunes are to change.

Fatty is back alright Shabby! both him and Blair read race well and had the eagles sorted out early on. With Dale to still come back its looking good for Palmy. We will be there in our "The Fat is Back" T shirts complete with fatty green writing on them. Better get your order in with Radie Shabs.
