Smity, As I have just left from working on two eagles team cars I can assure you that there will be a team fronting up in Nelson this Saturday. Both drivers are committed to beating the Tigers as are all of the Eagles. Myself and the rest of the crews will ensure there is a strong team on the track to wave the Glen Eagles flag high. I am also sure the boys would welcome all supporters that are making the journey up to come and say gidday in the pits before and after the meeting.
GO THE EAGLES!!!!

Dave McCall and his family were heavily involved with both the Nelson and Christchurch clubs in their formative years as a competitor, official and patron. Nelson's corporate complex is named after the family in Dave's honour. The McCall Trophy is a home and away superstock teams race series, with the Tigers one up this season after win comfortably at the Glen. Rematch this Saturday in Nelson minus Dale Ewers and Malcolm Ngatai. Nelson will field Brendan Higgins, Daryl Peterson, Shane Harwood, Blair Cunningham and Ian Clayworth.

Dale still not racing after his injury at SI champs. With some big meetings to come why risk it (actually not even sure whether he may still be on stand-sown, if he had one)

His next meeting will be NZ champs at Kihikihi. I think he would have been eligible for this weekend (just) but has had a couple of big hits -- including one in the first half of the McCall and is taking a break.

Still keen to do the 240's but will make decision on that a week before the meeting. Have talked with Sonja and she happy with that. Good luck to the Tigers Saturday night. I don't no about this watching though first time I will be on the out side in 9 years racing.
