Thread before suggested Ray rolled. Why only top 10 results on Huntly website? Also still want grid draws. that's all the cars in each group. low turnout this year me thinks

Thanx Gordy. Less than 30 cars for the nz's. Thats a shame.
Not many needed to cull then. Is it top 6 go through and two from a repercharge?

34t 8th and 10th, overall 9th on points with 24 points.
Unsure how that could happen with a roll.

ray finished his first heat 8th, and if you start a heat you get points for finishing so that is why he got points in his second heat

perhaps 34t landed on his wheels and kept going lol.
Wish I had gone up tonight , it's a good format .
The format is a little bit variable as pasted below .
Qualifying, to find the top 20 Cars who will contest the Huntly Placemakers New Zealand Super Saloon Title, will be held over 4 heats of 15 laps, per group. Points will be allocated from 20 down. The first 16-18 Finalists will be found from the qualifying heats. (Again this will be determined by the number of entries & groups required) Any run-offs will be held over 4 laps. The final 2-4 places will be determined in a repercharge of the next 20 cars, on points, to be held on Saturday night. Grids for the repercharge will be determined by points obtained in qualifying heats with the highest, non-qualifying, point’s getters at the front.

I would assume they are going to take the top six from each group.

I guess they have reduced the number of laps in keeping with the lower number of cars than they might have expected when planning the meeting .
2 less laps per race means 24 less super saloon laps on the track tonight . That might be a good thing .

Burs is doing really well for a guy who told me today that his illness had left his head in a spin. He just wanted to get through today and suck it up for tomorrow -- he's on the right track!

yes Gav , all I'm thinking is the more track saved tonight the more there will be tomorrow when I'm there.

yes Gav , all I'm thinking is the more track saved tonight the more there will be tomorrow when I'm there. o the logic unfolds if the track is properly done tonight it "shouldn't" matter how much racing there is tonight, maybe just how many cars are left...click...i see where your coming from now...lol

With some average results and non finishers, the top 6 may come from those that finish 3 heats.
Drive tidy and have no mechanical woes and you shud be there for night 2.
Hope spectators are getting sum action. Only 2 or three cars from each group wont auto qualify after heat racing. No need to make a do or dive pass.
Wud 2 heats of 15 work better for spectators or in this PC world do we need to make sure the cream with no mechanical damage, that can avoid nine other cars makes it to the top.
Night 2 will be crowded.
