Great video Steeldog, not that it's great to see someone injured but good coverage, just looked at it a couple of times and if you see seconds before the crash the 2 little kids that go runnig round the edge, just imagine if they were a couple of seconds late........ Its getting hard to patrol these children, i told a few off and got told by a couple of them to somply Fu** Off, now isn't that nice.
Apart from that, its good to hear Ian is doing good at home and recovering well, was a mighty crash.

Spoke to Ian 2day & hes at home ,just feeling a bit sore. Released from hospital yesterday afternoon. Glad to hear. It looked serious and the resuce crew & ambos weren't taking any chances with the back & neck brace.

It's a racing accident, same as what happened between Ricky Logan & Allard at WS
Here is a video of the same thing, car comes out wide, and there was another car there. This was from last week

However, they probably would have had to change underwear but that's about it. They weren't leaning on the pipe fence (like others do) and the safety fence did its job well.

Of course it was a racing incident. Sprint cars dont have a rear view mirror so how was the black car supposed to know Easton was coming down the outside. This is so obvious as Easten's front wheel hit the other car's rear wheel.

As a spectator i'm devestated. The commentators tell us to scream our support as the drivers can hear us. And now I find out Santa & Easter Bunny aren't real.

Hi i talked with Ian and apart from the brusing hes feeling fine ,but the cars a different storey its in need of new bones (the frame has taken all it can ) so the easton team are changing the car out into the new frame(next years chassis) and are going to be at Wellington for the 5th running of the Halcrow Engineering ltd Wellington Sprintcar champs next weekend the 27th that also includes the SSCAR super saloon series and the Retko Haulage Welington Ministock Champs anyway all the best to Ian (Jac-Jac) on a "speedy" recovery (like he would have it any other way lol) cheers Martin Halcrow

How can he contest this. Didnt he get Knocked out? If so its a 21 day stand down which means he is cleared the day before Harrisville.
