well been a while,a whole season in fact.thought id do a bit of a reveiw.i did 4 meetings ithink at the end of last season and the full season just been, its been great, while i just about gave it all away towards the end of this season (pretty freindly with the towtruck guys) but a couple of great nights have turned me back on the straight and narrow . THE CAR.the engine has been a god send, had a map sensor and fuel psi reg crap out but thats all we have had to do to it.ran on 95 most nights occasionally 98,but the other week we ran avgas and wow what a difference the temarua wall and i have been seeing a bit of each this season so ive been thru a few bottom arms/shocks/wheels and tyres.in one incident the rear touched the wall so hard it moved the whole rear end across an inch(so that was rebuilt for easter at meannee).no drive line issues to report. had a couple of meetings with power steer issues, man my arms were sore after those races. NEXT SEASON.wont be to many changes(about to build myself a house)but new rear chassis(#4 i think)cut out some of the patch up jobs on the front end general tidy up etc.need to build myself a trailer. mabey some engine work ,depending on budget and time. and the budget?im gonna say 5k,it can be done and im looking to another(mabey a turbo super )when i get my new garage. having a blast, had some great racing(nothing like passing someone with twice as much hp). so without further adue,THANKS TOO;my wife who dosent get to see me much.richard @ gaskin ford, darrin @ VBT,dennis @ capital pools, marty @upper hutt bins, jamie my engineer mate who does the things i simply cant, chris hadley who donated parts to the cause and all the drivers and crews who ive meet and received advice and parts from. see you all next season scott jones 911w

Awesome to see another budget team on the track, pity mine will look better than yours. You are probably better on the track though. I have kept all receipts and on track and trailer for just over $10k with 99 percent done by me. A lot of fun on the build, hope the drive is just as good or better. See you on track behind me some time next season.
