Unforunately the weather has won again and tonight has been postponed until tomorrow. This means the whole schedule has now been moved back one day, same time-line, same details, same events. i.e. Tonights Qualifying will be Saturday Night and Saturday Night's Events will now be on Sunday Night. www.huntlyspeedway.co.nz

A day less for drivers between nzs and teams (for those involved)
A day less for those getting a fix at both meetings

A day less for drivers between nzs and teams (for those involved) A day less for those getting a fix at both meetings Which may play into your hands, depending on which team you support of course. I'm sure we could all find some reason to moan about the postponement, but.....

Weather looks good in Hamilton it looks good to me it was sunny come here, why they called too early!! 2 and half hours to go!!! Apparently it's pretty messy in the pits and on the banks. While the track would be improvable with packers and rollers, I can't imagine it would be a spectators' paradise sitting on the banks in the mud...or working in the pits in the mud.

But yet Rotorua speedway were happy for us to sit in the rain for an hour or so on the first night last year when you could tell clearly it wasn't going away... Imo huntly called to soon, all the weather pages i've looked at had all said clearing by evening so...

You have just suggested that Rotorua made a call that was too late....yet criticise Huntly for making it too early... I don't think it's about the rain that's NOT falling from the sky...it's about the rain that's already in the mud!

Brilliant "clearing by evening" spoken like a true fan that wants to see racing no matter what the conditions. How about everyone else in the mud and no spectators to pay for the show because the weathers marginal oh and then it rains. The arm chair experts will be saying why did they try to run it when theres obviously 3 days of fine weather coming..good call huntly regardless of the weather tonight

Condition of carparks always has to be considered as well, also the advice the WSSCC sought from the aviation industry via Joe Faram. There are things that can't be guaged just by looking out your laundry window. There was A LOT of rain in the area earlier in the day, but these decisions are always a no-win situation for promotions. They're always either too late or too early, based on your thoughts AFTER the fact...........
