When the call was made it was still bucketing down the track and the pits were soaked. The forecast was that it was going to clear but not to 11pm tonight. If we had run it tonight it would have wrecked the track for the next night. This is a NZ Championship where Huntly would like to produce the best track we can provide the call was not made lightly. There are lots of other factors involved as well . As we do not have a direct line to the almighty we can't predict the weather. So let's enjoy the next 2 nights which i'm sure will be an awesome NZ Superstock Championship.

Perhaps we need to have a VIP board for members so we can have some intelligent conversation without the muppets.

The best possible track is an important factor; there were plenty of negative comments about the KK surface two seasons ago - a surface they had to prepare in between some torrential rain.

When does one become a muppet?, When does one cease to be a muppet?, what about lapses into muppethood?. Are muppets born or created?. Who chooses the non muppets?, God I think I just turned into a muppet. Help, send cure quick. Nah , I'm ok now , I'll just blame it on the weather.

For All the Muppets and Non-Muppets out there: Here's a prayer that should work to keep the rain away:
Our Father, Who art In-Field, SPEED be thy Name, Our Track is Ready, Let Championships be Done, On Track as it is in the protest room, Give us these days, our dose of action, And Forgive our Loyalties as we forgive others for theirs, And lead us not into a Rain-out, But deliver us blue skies. For thine is the Sport, V8's be the power and 1NZ be the glory, For ever and Ever,
AMEN!

Lol = txt speak for laugh out loud, so whats the problem?
Yes this is off topic, but Im sick of seeing posts asking for text language to be stopped etc etc.
We all see posts asking for the sport to modernised, yet some members and moderators continue to hack at the language of some of our younger members and those who are less grammatically correct.
You can all obviously understand what they are saying, how about less of the knocking, and accept that some will post in text speak and some have terrible grammar, including myself, and just get over it....there must be hundreds of posts referring to this.
Whats next? Unacceptable grammar will not be tolerated on this board? 2 point spacing is mandatory.....I mean geez, lifes too short.

Well i fink huntly made a bad decision and i fink it should b sunday aftanoon if a drivers car is heavily damaged and the driver is doing teams its gona b along week of repairs OMG where did you learn to spell! You "Think" that do you? I know you are welcome to your opinion. My opinion is it was a great decision, why make people sit and walk through mud with a chance that the track could be in good condition for racing. I might "BE" a little biased as I'm not attending the meeting. Also why should Huntly worry about drivers that are "GOING" to be racing teams? They are hosting there event first and that should be there priority. Oh dear UGMO. "They are hosting THEIR event first and that should be THEIR priority" Your other corrections were good though.

Case and point. No one is perfect, including the boards moderators....or should that be the board's moderator's? Actually who cares!

Touché I'll cop that one as I do struggle with those 2 Or should I blame the iPhone autocorrect haha. Is it too much to expect people to engage the thing between the ears in the head called a brain? Seriously use the whole word and spell it correctly!
