This would have to be one of the worst years for postponed or cancelled meetings for a long time , The last 4 NZ Championships in a row!!!!!!! (Streeties, Super Saloons, Modifieds and now Superstocks), and the NZ Stockcars only got in by the skin of their teeth........

In case anyone wants GOOD news, the forecast for Palmy for the next week is for showers on Friday and fine on Saturday and Sunday! Bruce Robertson's decision to run Teams Champs later in the weekend looks to be an inspired one. Then again, a lot can happen in a week...

You "Think" that do you? I know you are welcome to your opinion. My opinion is it was a great decision, why make people sit and walk through mud with a chance that the track could be in good condition for racing. I might "BE" a little biased as I'm not attending the meeting. Also why should Huntly worry about drivers that are "GOING" to be racing teams? They are hosting there event first and that should be there priority.

What's the quote about pleasing some of the people some of the time, all of the people none of the time...and failing to attend English class at any time?

I'm sure you can do it if you try hard. An afternoon meeting with the horse power of Superstocks will just mean a slick track and dust. Quite likely resulting in more damage to both cars and drivers.

Far to much of that type of crap goes on here.

I Think we all need to pray to the God of Speed for great weather for Saturday and Sunday this weekend and next weekend as well. (And any other gods y'all think are appropriate!) I for one am chomping-at-the-bit as it were, to see NZ's best go for the coveted 1NZ, Surely one of the oldest speedway titles in NZ? ;D I wish I had the readies to go to Palmy, but the NZ's will have to suffice. and finally, best of luck to ALL the drivers this weekend, by adding to the history, you are ALL legends. Cheers, Paul of Stratford
