i really dont understand why people bagg on what promoters are trying to do
you can never win with the weather gods no mater what time of year it is, just look at most big meetings palmy has tried to race this year
also as the promoter Bruce takes the risk, yes we as drivers take the risk to go racing but no one is forcing you to travel, you do it because you want to race, and i applaud Bruce and the team for leaving it to the last minute before calling racing off, people will moan either way, i mean how much bagging would go on if they called it early and the sun came out dried out the track and the conditions were fantastic for racing
Bruce does a fantastic job and i hope he will always continue to do so,
over the years he has put so much into the sport and brought palmy up to a fantastic standard
with the help of drivers, supporters and promoters and family this sport will hopefully continue to grow.
all i can say instead of getting on the smash the P wagon, jump off and support those who support the sport, they are the ones who put in the hard work behind the scenes and deserve our many thanks
this has been a very interesting first year of racing for me and i would like to say to all the team at Palmy, you are great the job you do may be thankless but i thank you and i am glad i made the switch in racing to racing full size, all of you (ladies in the office, Puk, bruce, the pit crews, the towies, the medics, and the scrutineers, cheers and i will be there rain or shine for the last 2 meeting of the season
cheers'
