Stratford place to be Saturday night. King of the Mountain Stocks with full field of over 30 cars including 3 Rees and a handful of other P cars. Supers by all accounts and reports have had good numbers lately and they be bolstered by the Rees and maybe more from out of town. NZ Minisprint Grand Prix also. Good fix of action right there Sorry the biggest Speedway event in the country is on. Teams Champs in Palmy! Nothing to see there. (sorry Stratford)

And your post too (and my reply) is off topic. Someone needs to moderate me. Moderate or dictate? Staying on topic is not a term or condition of registration - is it! You are kidding aren't you. If I was to dictate then most of this thread would be gone. 'We have the rights to remove objectionable content' We as moderators decide what is objectionable

Replacements will step up to the plate and put on a show. On paper this will be one of the most even Teams champs in a while. All races have the potential to be very tough racing with anyone capable of causing upsets, turning form books on their heads and taking the title.

Can anyone tell me if Kerry Humphrey protested Aaher's $50 fine? Or did he just (possibly unhappily) accept it and get on with racing?

If you dont like a post you don't have reply, you csn actually move on. The moderators make sure the threads stay on topic and posters don't post offensive or repeative posts - i hate reading the same posts over and over. Everyone has a different opinion, and thats a good thing, the mods make sure that everyone has a say unless that opinion is offensive or way out in left field.

Well when someone gives up something or changes direction there is always usually more than one reason. I think being knocked out, injuries and seeing others suffer is enough to make you think, is it worth it.

Interesting that Rees clan and other Palmy cars are going to Stratford on Saturday night and by passing the Westcoast Supers and more especially the Chalie Bensten Trophy at Wanganui. Great support from Wangas neighbour especially as Rees has won the Chalie before !!!!!

Last weekend Wanganui cars came to support Palmy running in both the 248s and the Manawatu Stockcar champs. How many cars turned up from Stratford? I'm gonna go with zero...

Looks like Rees Race Cars are in Damage control, deleting posts form there FB page gone is the big dummy spit post! This has turned out to be a bigger bubble popper than the DotCom moment of truth. Attention seeking?, I thought Pete was better than that. The post is gone from 79p's page too. I don't know how facebook works so don't know if removal from 79p also removes from the Rees page as their's was a response. Either way that's a positive move.

Just a small opinion. Obviously there is a lot of opinion on the situation but the part that concerns me the most is, not the fact about the on track altercation but the pot shoting of the Rees business. To start picking on how they construct their cars and mention they are been made of poor workmanship is unfair. As for Kerry not seeing the lights, maybe it is time for green, yellow and red lights in the cars that are activated when the race controller turns them on. Other class might follow suite as dust at some tracks is a problem. Could you point me to a post picking on the construction of the Rees cars and the Rees business. Not saying there isn't one or two I may have missed. The incident happened under green lights so lights in the cars wouldn't have helped. I think a case could be mounted for the track green lights to start flashing once the leader has crossed the finish line. The comments re the Rees Race Cars were all in the now locked "has it gone too far" thread. That was last weeks news - purged from memory mr macgor!
