nope magor just had an opinion like everyone else is entitled to thats all ,just dont like you locking threads whem they start to get real good thats all. Point me to a thread that never got a fair run. In fairness to all Sir Macgor has over the many years has dealt with alot of dirty washing that has been hung out to dry ,most of it on line We all annoy him on these boards from time to time ,so his job is to strike a good balance which he endeavour,s to do so As a Boss he is well liked by many so just lets keep it that way ..

Replacements will step up to the plate and put on a show. On paper this will be one of the most even Teams champs in a while. All races have the potential to be very tough racing with anyone capable of causing upsets, turning form books on their heads and taking the title. where is the ref from this year?? oh sorry is that not the sort of upset you where referring too? just that you mentioned upside down books......... Think you will find it will be Rod McNaughton, you know that ROTORUA ref who in your opinion, looks after the PN guys (Not Rod has been doing the Teams for almost all of them apart from the first few, and than ever since the Stratford muck up and protests way back

Stratford place to be Saturday night. King of the Mountain Stocks with full field of over 30 cars including 3 Rees and a handful of other P cars. Supers by all accounts and reports have had good numbers lately and they be bolstered by the Rees and maybe more from out of town. NZ Minisprint Grand Prix also. Good fix of action right there Sorry the biggest Speedway event in the country is on. Teams Champs in Palmy! Nothing to see there. (sorry Stratford) Teams champs isn't this weekend man Stratford is though

Initially reading this thread I thought World War III had started. Then I thought the world was about to end given some of the postings. Now I realise it's just two Superstock drivers not driving at one meeting for personal reasons. Is this really worth an 8 page thread? The show will go on, the Teams Champs will be a great meeting and the Panthers will probably still win. and 8 hours later there's 8 more pages..... Barry B

Agree with you Go29. The Charlie is one of Speedways iconic trophies and Wangas drivers loyal support for Palmy doesn't appear to mean anything to some P drivers. Here's hoping a good number of P cars don't take the by pass route at the roundabout and turn left to one of the best non- championship meetings of the year. Fingers crossed !!!!

Could you point me to a post picking on the construction of the Rees cars and the Rees business. Not saying there isn't one or two I may have missed. The incident happened under green lights so lights in the cars wouldn't have helped. I think a case could be mounted for the track green lights to start flashing once the leader has crossed the finish line. The comments re the Rees Race Cars were all in the now locked "has it gone too far" thread. That was last weeks news - purged from memory mr macgor! I can't see any reference to the Rees business there , some talk about the parts coming off that particular car being of concern.

Righto guys , it's thursday night and there are other meetings to focuss on. I can't imagine there is anything else worthwhile that can be added to this thread. If there is do it now because before the morning the thread will be locked and the topic closed unless there are new developments.

Maybe we should all find a big table at teams sit down with some of those $10 beers and fire away. It'd be easier haha I'm there. Someone bring the cards for a nice friendly game of Texas hold 'em

Geeeze PPL get their knickers in a twist over silly little things. Part of what is wrong with speedway is that two good meetings for the same class are being run 90 mins or less apart. How do you know this wasn't a long standing arrangement between stratty and the Rees?. This is a reschuled meeting at wanganui. I'm real p's they ain't all coming to welly but so be it.

Can anyone explain to me why the fines , asher, kerry , and Chad are not the same as all three hits are deemed illegal and I thought chads hit was legal!

Oh please Mr Macgor, dont lock this thread. By all means delete the idiotic posts but this is one of the big stories that I am sure has a lot more twists to come.
16 pages in just over 24 hours would suggest there is a fair amount of interest.
One gets the feeling this issue may just turn out to be one of the bigger historical events in speedway folklore.

Been having exactly the same thoughts as you, if anything, in my opinion the only one that appears to be involved with genuine racing is the Chad Ace incident. Just my thoughts, but SNZ have strange ideas lately

Just looked again and it was in the "126p vs 79p hit.... " thread Not that you don't enjoy sending me on wide goose chases or anything. I agree the first post in that thread was a bit dubious but it was balanced by another further down. I don't see all the posts mentioned that rubbished the Rees cars or business.

Can anyone explain to me why the fines , asher, kerry , and Chad are not the same as all three hits are deemed illegal and I thought chads hit was legal! I'll try . The first alleged offender was Asher under the new straight lining rule. you know the rule they painted the yellow marks on the walls for. Incidentally I gather Asher appealed and won but that is hearsay. This rule was dumped after another incident in Napier. The second was Chad who offended under yet another new rule about being over aggressive in turns 1 & 3 . This rule replaced the first new rule and has greater penalties. The 3rd was Kerry who broke the long standing rule about hitting after the flag and was penalised in accordance with that rule. He broke no other rule and the hit would have been legal if they were still racing. 3 different rules and 3 different penalties Does that help?
