Haha thanks team. When I scanned a few sites earlier in the week there was little up, but all good things take time!
Impressive performance by the Hawkeyes. Which hawkeye was it going hard in the first lap?
Some smart teams racing by both sides, the rematch will be a classic I think.
In those tight races home track advantage can play a big part in my limited experience

Prob watching last weeks vid. Robertson was on fire, good blocking by Gaskin, Parker and Fairbrother. Robertson was about to lap Jude, but 41b(?) turned right and took Jude to the wall. a very good teams race. Pye's new car looks good, and was quick straight out of the box. but did miss the last Super Stock race so hope it didnt give up the ghost on him.

i thought the flag was shown to 89w. An old school race where tactics were to the fore rather than outright pace and big hits.
Jude was leading with a few laps to go but one of his team mates mis identified him as a Wgtn car and took him to the wall. Both teams in black.. 89w gassed it around the outside of a couple of attempts of the bay cars to stop him. I think both teams will benefit from the experience of having a few teams races under their belts. The teams champs at Palmy is a completely different kettle of fish with drivers showing a lot more motivation to put their cars and bodies on the line at the 'big show'.

Robertson was already leading when jude was shown the wall. Roberston took over after Fairbrother slowed and took Jude to the wall. A few laps later Jude was blockedby a team mate. Classic YoungGuns style teams race.

Robertson was already leading when jude was shown the wall. Roberston took over after Fairbrother slowed and took Jude to the wall. A few laps later Jude was blockedby a team mate. Classic YoungGuns style teams race. That's correct, Dale already had had the lead after some fantastic use of the back bumper by Fairbrother. It was in Hawkes Bays best chance to stop him that things went wrong. Could have been so different tho when in lap 1 or 2 there were 2 wildcats in the wall in turn 2, tied up with 1 HB car. Thankfully Robertson who I reckon had one of his best teams races in the superstock, never lost a lap. Steve Jude while leading was driving very conservatively trying to stay on his own as much as poss till he found the 52w, who was smart enough to quit his fights with other HB cars in time to slow the lead car. All of which which allowed Robertson to catch and pass Jude. Tapped mentioned it was a classic Young Guns performance, couldn't have put it better myself. I don't know if I'm just being biased or not but i gotta funny feeling in my waters that this current wildcat team has the making of a very very good team.
