are the results official? They are, read there were a couple of protests, 1 being 58c protesting 16c apparently. I did notice straight after the race Richie said well done to Waddell and Cowling but not Osborne

I did notice straight after the race Richie said well done to Waddell and Cowling but not Osborne I donโt want to be one of those people but I suspect we may not have heard the last of this. To clarity 16C was demoted two places after the race He protested and won on what sounds like dubious reasoning. Under pressure from pit crew and other drivers someone but not 58c then protested this but it was thrown out quite quickly. It does allow for an appeal after the fact though. Put simply there were 23 super saloon drivers and one super stock driver out there last night. The racing was pretty clean amongs the 23. Sadly the 16c cost 58c a fair go at the podium but could easily been other drivers. As much as I was not a fan of the 8 car heats the actual event was fantastic close. All finishing cars were on the same lap and I reckon 20 of them at least were in with a chance as racing was close. Numbers may be down but the quality of the 23 we had racing was fantastic. Passing was difficult but deserved when it happened cleanly.

The disharmony in this class really is getting out of hand, and simply put, for the class to survive going forward there's going to have to be a massive reset and getting on the same page as the current trajectory isn't looking flash
