I’m only going off what the commentary team said last year, it may be operating but maybe not linked up to head out live to the public ? Could well be. I found the meeting in the app. All the races are there, every teams clash, hot laps etc, but when you click on the live race there is no info. So they must be able to restrict who can see it and who can't. Barry B Barry, there is a setting in the MyLaps software to enable scoreboard, announcer and MyLaps feeds. In this case, the MyLaps feed will be off, so live laps and results will only go up if someone presses the export button (usually at the end of the meeting). I can just picture a driver pulling out their phone during a red light to have a quick check of the race positions. Ido know for a fact that any racetrack big screens are not able to show live lap results so the drivers cannot see it during a race.

There’s Hail at the track at the moment Jeez that's a new way to ensure the Panthers don't get beat!

The blower will helps tons, and before rain the surface was taking a little rubber so was firm on top.
That cheer that Rodney wood got on the blower, probably bought back memories of 15 years ago 😂. Good guy he is .

Good guy he is . Rodney is a legend down there. The night I announced to the crowd from the Palmy infield that Rodney had just won the New Zealand Sprintcar championship at Cromwell was probably the biggest roar of the night Rodney and i started doing speedway "stuff" in the same year, 1988. He's still out there doing it and expanding into track prep outside of his racing. While I'm sitting at home being a has-been Barry B

Because I’m bored waiting for things to start again, could someone (kindly) explain what they mean by a 4-bar car vs a torsion bar car? I have heard this for ages but never understood it. Cheers

I get the feeling they are just trying to get races 5,6 and 7 done, then will run round 2 tommorow early, and finals at night?
I’m not sure if they could run late tonight and get all qualifying done?

A great way to keep the night flowing and ensure everyone has the same gap between races would be to have hot laps at the beiginning of the night. The team that does their 1st heat in round two gets an advantage as they can do their hot laps and their adjust the car. The team that has already run has to sit on the infield and stay with the setup.
Would also cut down the meeting time by a considerable amount

Tonight’s meeting postponed until Sunday night, and finals on Monday. I missed the announcement. So they're racing the rest of qualifying tomorrow, adding the Super Saloons to replace the teams races already completed? And then full finals night Monday night? Barry B

Tonight’s meeting postponed until Sunday night, and finals on Monday. Also tomorrow will be a shorter meeting as it’s a continuation from tonight’s, so race 5 will be first up, plus the super saloons are on Sunday, not Monday, as bobby pearce heads home Monday to America.

Ah, okay. I wonder what they'll fill the gaps with on Monday then. If the Super Saloon have 3 or 4 races tomorrow night that makes a full meeting, as we've only lost 4 teams races. But Monday will looking a little light. Barry B
