Crikey first time seen the Collingwood hit on wall  . Look just glad he is alright but at a guess how fast was he going when he hit the wall? |

Does any one know if Steve uses a Hans Device?? Man his head looks to move forward a lot. Hampton's side on smack into the wall didnt look that big on the video. But it did look very similar to Shane Penn's last season at the Teams Champs when he was ko'd too... |

When I was finally able to get out to Steve the first thing I noticed was his head outside of the head net, which you can see in the third shot. Might be time Steve either gets some wings on that seat or another form of netting.

poor old barry b would been scared ah seeing him come towards ya In a word, yes........but felt much worse once he went past and I realised what was going to happen next. I'd followed Roydon around the wall before glancing back down towards Hampton, thinking the 94P had stopped. I only switched my eyes back in that direction as Collingwood made the grass, which gave me one hell of a fright and thank goodness I didn't have to move far. The film footage confirms he'd have missed me anyway, but when you've got a split second to react you don't really have the time to weigh the distances up. My old heart sure skipped a beat! |

Thats why I missed the impact on video Barry, I could see what was next and was stunned, hence the camera dropping. Mate next to me let out the expletive you hear, that was shock as well, the first hit with Hampton you can accept as a racing hit and you hope theyre ok, and I know Roydon would tell you that as well, but that last hit was horriffic. . .

Can you comfirm this. No I can't, either way, but I find that extremely difficult to believe. I suspect he was out from the initial contact after the Hampton hit until he struck the concrete by turn 2. |
