Who raced a Mod that bronzey colour out of Palmy back in the late 80's, maybe early 90's, I think it was number 63P?

That may be his first car - it's certainly another body style/colour I'm thinking of.

The front of that car doesnt look quite right either. Maybe the other car BB is thinking of could be. Ill get some pics of it without the body once its home, the guy said he thinks it was raced in Palmy in the colours it is now as it hasnt been changed in a while.
Stonecold, Ive got a huge interest in the older stuff, altho im only a young 30 i prefer the older stuff, cars with history. The dream is to own as many old cars as possible. I have 2 so far. ;D

Maybe 1994? I remember they had them when Dewer won his NZ title in 1992/3. I dont think they had them when i started racing in 1996.

How long since Palmy ran Mods as a local class? 1993-94 was the last season Palmy ran Mods full time. I had just moved up there and we were running 10-12 cars with visitors a night. Spike said we werent turning the racing on so 3/4 through the season most of us ended up running in Stratty or Wellington. After that the P numbers dropped away and most cars were sold off and drivers went onto other deals.
