I saw Mick Quinn was racin his midget at WP one night Rob Clifton was at Te Marua with his tri-rotor Cosmo a few weeks ago - I know he has been around since at least the late 70's - think he even had a 2NZ or 3NZ on his RX3 at one stage back then!

If I remember correctly Ian Easton raced in 1968. I think Clive Elliot has started racing at least forty years ago.

Don,t know when Lance started Will find out ;D ;D If I remember correctly, Lance started during the first season that saloons began which was 1968/69, he certainly was racing by the second season of 1969/70 and I don't think he has missed a season since.

40-plus years of racing; sheesh. The frightening thing would be to sit down with pen, paper and calculator and work out how rich you might be if not for a certain addiction - then throw away the piece of paper before the better half sees it ;D

Rod Clifton started at Palmerston North in 1965.......according to track records by 1975 he was the longest serving competitor there.....a record he has held for 35 years now as he has raced this season in the Mazda Cosmo Super Saloon 31p.....so thats a 45 year timespan of competition!
